My boyfriend put his arms around me this evening and exclaimed ‘you feel thinner!’ That felt good!
I am half a stone thinner, which is no mean feat, but I’m also leaner, less fat, more muscle.
As my second week draws to an end (it’s day 13 and there is a cheat meal tomorrow – hurray), I am starting to realise that this is my way of life from now on. It won’t always be so harsh, but there will always be restrictions. I won’t be able to eat a cookie just because someone at work bought them on their lunch break and there won’t be many weeks that I don’t have to go to the gym 3 times, but the pain should be worth the gain. Though I’m not so naive as to believe that there won’t be times when I won’t be incredibly frustrated with a weight loss plateau.
I’ve taken the plunge and signed up for 12 months of Boot Camp. It’s going to be tough, but awesome too.
